Liquid foundation is something that i have only found myself using in the last 10 months or so. A million years ago when i first started wearing makeup on a daily basis all i used on my skin was a Cover Girl Pressed Powder. A few years back my cousin Kevin who is an AMAZING makeup artist turned me onto Mac Studio Fix (LOVE me some MAC!) pressed powder which provided more coverage without using a liquid foundation. Now i have always have very fair and very sensitive skin and in the last 9 months or so i have noticed a lot of red in my cheek area on my skin. It does not hurt and is not dry (my skin tends to run average with dry spots) and no amount of soothing products cures it. So alas i was promoted to add a liquid foundation to my makeup routine. I started using Loreal Lumi Foundation which i would apply with a sponge or my fingers when i was in a rush. it was an impulse buy and i liked the packaging. While i felt like i got decent coverage, it left my skin feeling really slick. That is why i decide to give a mousse foundation a try. I did not know how much coverage i would get, but i was willing to try. I decided to forgo a sponge this time too and purchased a cheep foundation brush at target for around 8 dollars. i applied the foundation with my fingers and blended it with the brush. I was happily surprised! I think the foundation did a great job of covering up my red and what i really loved is the way it felt on my skin!! It was super soft with almost a powdery feeling, not at all oily or slick! This product definitely gets a thumbs up from this gal!
